Hello and welcome back to another Revelation Post! I wanted to share something the Lord revealed to me while I was fellowshipping with a brother in Christ. We were playing tennis, he ended up taking a phone call, and as I was waiting, just thanking God for little things He drew my attention to this crystal clear example of faith and fruitfulness. Without further ado, here’s the revelation:

Branch 1

Branch 2
This is what the Lord drew my eyes to. As you can see there are two branches, and the first is growing through the fence while the second one stops short of it, and looks a bit down cast. They both come from the same tree, and yet one pushed forward in spite of the obstacle in front of it while the other did not.
The first branch is a representation of believers who push onward in their walk with the Lord undaunted by the first portion of John 16:33 (ESV) which reads “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have tribulation.” They recognize the significance of the latter end of the verse which reads “But take heart; I have overcome the world”.
The second branch is a representation of those who come up against the aforementioned tribulation and stopped short. They don’t recognize the obstacle as an opportunity for growth. Notice how the second branch points down, almost in defeat while the first branch has not only pushed forward, but bears fruit.
Proverbs 18:16 (ESV) states “A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before the great”. Notice how the obstace had spaces pre-made into it, so that the brance that was bold could grow through it; the Lord is intentional even in somethings like this. Take heart and choose to be like the first branch, the fruitful branch that pressed in and grew through the opposition with fruit to bear for it. Don’t be like the second branch with a countenance of discouragement. Be encouraged by the Word of God, by it we are able to grow and bear the fruit of the Spirit, reflecting His glory even in the face of troubles and tribulation.
I pray this revelation has blessed and encouraged you. Remember, no matter what you face, choose to grow through it and be fruitful.
Untill next time
