Be Consistent in Your Convictions

Welcome back to RnT with JB! I pray this revelation blesses you as it blessed me:

You have to be consistent in your convictions or become acquainted with the consequences….ok what does that mean?

If you’re a Holy Ghost filled follower of Christ, the convictions you receive when you sin, or even approach sin, are what you need to be consistently conscious of because otherwise you’ll end up facing the consequences of your actions.

As it says in the Word, the wages of sin is death, and it may not be a loss of your life, but a loss of potential, loss in your relationship with God, loss of future conviction leading to a seared consciousness which can garner you a host of unattractive consequences I could too much time listing.

Please know I’m not saying this to try and pass judgement; conviction is a good thing! We are imperfect beings led by a perfect God who already knows that we’re going to fall short. That’s why He gave us the Holy Spirit who dwells on the inside of us to let us know when we’re acting in the flesh and inadvertently opening the door to the enemy. Conviction is correction, and consistently receiving correction helps us to know when we’re getting off track. Allow yourself to be corrected daily, unhindered by feelings, emotions, or lack thereof.

Be consistent in exercising your conviction in Christ by being bold in your faith! Hold fast to His promises and repent daily. May God keep and bless you on today and in the days to come!

Until next time

JB
